Health and Safety

As a Company we put Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) at the heart of our business. The Company has memberships with ROSPA, CHAS, Construction Line, the British Safety Council and Safe Contractor.

We operate an integrated management system including ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001. This system allows us to manage quality, environment and health & safety in an efficient and comprehensive way.

Our ESH plan outlines our commitment to improvement in focused areas of Environmental, Safety and Health allowing us to measure, monitor and evaluate our progress. This activity is co-ordinated through our dedicated and professionally qualified ESH Officer.

Our senior management team receives monthly updates on all aspects of ESH including site audits, accident statistics and near misses.

We promote a proactive ESH culture and having worked on numerous contracts over 15 years, have never received an enforcement notice from the HSE.

We have a 100% CSCS/CPCS compliant workforce; and recently achieved the CITB Platinum award. All staff receive essential ESH training such as Manual Handling and Fire Awareness.

We ensure that knowledge of policies and procedures is regularly reinforced by such monitoring measures as spill drills and service location procedure drills. These take place on site and results are recorded with improvements identified, if necessary. (? Hyperlink to example)

Onsite training and site audits are carried out on a regular basis. We attend sites to provide training and development and all our monthly ESH meetings also take place on site ensuring all staff can make a contribution.
